Good game for the home team tonight, stuck to the game plan, and got a well deserved win.
The first period started with a fight between Hunt of PG and Shattock, Hunt challenged Shattock at the faceoff, the puck dropped,they went at it, with Shattock throwing three punch to the face, and it was over, I really hope Hunt is ok, he could hardly stand up and needed help to the dressing room, it was very clear he did not have a clue were he was. Only one goal was scored with Puustinen scoring his 18 from Nixon and Jorgensen.
In the second period the Blazers started to pull away with Jorgensen getting his 23 from Puustinen and Bartley, Kamloops then went up 3-0 with Jorgensen getting his 24 from Delaronde and Bender. One fight in the period with Kraus and former Blazer Thiessen going at it, mostly wrestling but I would give it to Kraus,
The third saw PG come out with a little more life and they were able to take advantage of Blazer penalty trouble and score a powerplay goal, but on this night that was all they could muster and the Blazers would add three more goals from Dunstall, Bender and Hall to put the game away.
As far as PG goes, I would say White was far and away there best player, with out his effort tonight Kamloops could easly have scored another four or five goals, Sagert played ok as did Tyrell, the older players put the motions in.
