Traded for Scott Doucet as per PA news. The WHL website already has the trade processed but no announcement yet.

Leblanc has some good speed, and likes to shoot, but he has taken a lot of nights off since about 2 weeks into the season (obviously one game too many). Probably not a gamebreaking trade for either team, but one has to wonder why we still haven't addressed the problems on the blueline, and keep acquiring more forwards.

are we stockpiling for an even bigger trade involving a 4 for 3 or 5 for 3-4 type of trade package.

Not sure that PA would give up AJ at this point. They still have a good chance of pulling the division off with 3 games in hand, besides the fact that AJ has been injury stricken with the bad knee and Vandermeer is playing good hockey for the Rebels.

Er, I would say that Vandermeer is WAY more injury stricken overall than Thelan, by a long shot.
