Broncos Set to Play in Crucial Home and Home
JAN 3 - The Swift Current Broncos will find themselves in an important set of games this weekend as they get set to host the Regina Pats on Friday night before heading to Regina for part 2 of the home and home on Saturday night.

The Broncos (20-18-1-1, 2nd in East) lead the slumping Regina Pats (15-20-1-3, 4th in East) by just 6 points in the East Division. The Pats are 2-7-0-1 in their last 10 games and have won just 6 times in 22 road games this season.

The Pats boast an impressive power play that is currently operating at 18.2% thanks to 54 power play goals this season. In the teams 3 previous meetings, the Pats power play has scored 8 times on just 29 chances including 4 times on 13 chances in Regina on October 14th.

The Broncos and Pats have met 3 times this season with Regina winning the first 2 and Swift Current taking the most recent game, which took place in Swift Current on December 3rd. Despite being outshot 32-17, the Broncos managed to skate away with a 3-2 victory.
