Blazer's got of to a good start to the new year with a big 5-2 win over the Rockets last night giving the team its fourth win since the Christmas break and pulling them within 5 points of tonights opponent the Vancouver Giants, so far this season the Blazers have won all three matches, and hopefully they can continue this tonight,
Brock Nixon the teams leading scorer may be out for tonights game after hurting his shoulder in the second period of the Kelowna game, so the rest of the team will have to step up big time to fill his skates.
So since Brock may not play, and the Blazers have not played a full 60 minutes against the Giants in the last couple of games I will say that they will come through with there best effort tonight and win 5-1
