I thought it might be a good idea to keep all the trades or rumors in one thread rather then getting carried away with several threads. Please post all finalized Hitmen trades, and any rumors or rumblings in this thread. Lets hope Kisio can bring in a couple of good players so the Hitmen can make a strong run this spring.

The Hitmen have sent defenceman Curtis Kelner to the Chiefs for defenceman Dan Mercer. And the team has sent Michael Hengen to Moose Jaw for a 5th round bantam pick.

Was wondering if anyone could give some inside information on Kelner? He'll be welcomed by the Chiefs nicely. nhl

In Mercer you are getting a player who at times doesn't seem like he's even on the ice. But he's gotten 200 times better than last year. He was one of those guys you could put on the PP, PK, even strength. He will be missed. :wave:

Was wondering if anyone could give some inside information on Kelner?

I have only seen the team play twice live this year and I really didn't notice Kelner out there. He has played forward a couple of times this year if I remember correctly. He is from Arizona. Hopefully someone who gets a chance to watch the team more often can help you out alittle more.
