T-BIRDS GAME WITH PRINCE ALBERT CANCELLED DUE TO BLIZZARD
Game will be made up on Wednesday, January 17

Seattle, January 10, 2006 - The Seattle Thunderbirds game scheduled for Wednesday, January 10, against the Prince Albert Raiders in Prince Albert has been cancelled due to weather conditions.

The T-Birds were set to leave Saskatoon Wednesday morning for Prince Albert, but a major winter storm is currently hitting Saskatchewan. Highway 11, the highway between Saskatoon and Prince Albert, has been closed because of extreme white out conditions.

The two teams will make up the game on Wednesday, January 17, at 5:30 p.m. in Prince Albert.
The T-Birds Eastern Division road trip continues over the weekend when Seattle plays three games in three days. They take on the Regina Pats on Friday at 5 p.m., the Brandon Wheat Kings on Saturday at 5:30 p.m. and the Moose Jaw Warriors at 5 p.m. on Sunday. The T-Birds play the Swift Current Broncos on Tuesday, January 16, at 6 p.m. then finish out the trip with the rescheduled Raiders game.

The T-Birds return home on Saturday, January 20, to face the Portland Winter Hawks at KeyArena at 7:05 p.m.
