Lethbridge, AB – The Lethbridge Hurricanes made two trades on this busy day in the WHL. The ‘Canes acquired 20 year old Kyle Lamb from the Vancouver Giants in exchange for forward Mike Wuchterl. Lamb had a career high 42 points (26G, 16A) last season and has tallied 23 points (12G, 11A) in 41 games for the Giants in the ’06-’07 campaign.

The Hurricanes have also acquired 6’4” defenseman Nicolaus Knudsen from Tri-City in exchange for defenseman Mitch McColm. Knudsen, a native of Aldergrove, B.C. has 7 points (1G, 6A) and 66 PIMs in 23 games this season for the Americans, along with a plus-five plus/minus rating.

lamb should be a nice addition to the canes. good luck to mikey in the mem cup..................
