What happened to Spencer Machacek?

I must have missed something. I read that Spencer will not be participating in the CHL/NHL Prospect Game, due to injury. What is the injury, and what caused it?

Sore neck after getting hit by Kerr in the Lethbridge game on the weekend.

Kerr got 5 and a game for elbowing, later changed to a charge, and Kerr got a 1 game suspension for the hit.

No word on a concussion for Spencer, probably precautionary.

Bringing him back too early and possibly having him then knocked out for an extended period of time would be worse than having him sit a little while, initially, until he appears healthy enough for a regular showing.
