Figured we shouldn't have a game go by without a thread...
Bad Karma...
Neufeld with 23 saves and Dakers with 31 for the Goose Egg were definitely a huge part of this game. Could have gone either way if they didn't stand on their heads at both ends of the ice.
The second goal for the Ice was an Empty netter.
Stars were Dakers, Neufeld and Russell....
And Russell wasn't on the ice for either goal..
Definitely a defensive game...I remember the Ice stopping countless shots.
Only 5 penalties all game...Only 1 in the 3rd period....my kind of Hockey...
If only our Offence could find the net....
