To date, the Hitmen have drawn 316,248 fans breaking the 1995-96 record set by the WHL's Portland Winter Hawks of 315,763. The Hitmen still have three home game remaining. The Ontario Hockey League's Ottawa 67's moves from second to third place all-time with 309,761, which was set in 2001-02

It's scary they still have three gates to count. If they get the word out and their marketing team can whip up something fancy-- I'm sure that the average and total attendance will rise.

Hopefully, all those fans whom have watched the Hitmen play this year will be back again next year (and whenever the NHL and the Flames take to playing icehockey again).

When the Flames come back and dissapoint Calgary with a below 500. crowd, they'll come back.

Just playing(however, that's still my prediction)! ;)
