Jarret Lukin, Ex Kamloops Blazer and Ex Medicine Hat Tiger was handed a 2 year suspension from CIS hockey after testing positive for cocaine.

He is playing right now in the ECHL for the Everglades, but I know that he's been suspended there until something can get worked out. (If his CIS suspension carries over to any other pro hockey leagues.)

Nice guy, good player, dumb mistake.

I don't know if being cut from the show (Making The Cut 2 Last Man Standing) had anything to do with this because he had his chance there, and I do not know if he will ever get another chance now after this.

I agree.

To me, its more disappointing than being upset. He has the work ethic and he has quite a bit of talent. He's not stupid either.

I ran into him around Thanksgiving and it seemed like he was having a good time at the UofC.

Guess not.
