What a great game last night! As soon as Dawes scored, I had a feeling it would be a long night for the Rockets. But they battled through and came up with a nice win. Sylvester is turning into a natural goal scorer! I think we'll need to pick up a fighter in the offseason to fill the void! LOL Sly played a hell of a game. Every time he had the puck, he was dangerous! Koots played well and it's been awhile since a team has come into Prospera and played us hard. I guess Seattle kinda did as well. I wasn't impressed with Glass at all. He must have been tired. Anyone else see Weber try to lay out Dawes along the boards. Dawes is lucky he ducked or he would have been in KGH last night! You could see Weber licking his chops when he saw Dawes come up the boards! Dawes is such a force out there. Every time he has the puck, he does something special with it. Fun kid to watch! All in all, great game and KELOWNA IS IN FIRST!!! WOOOOOHOOOOOO!!!!! Let's hope it lasts! Still a lot of hockey to be played!

Ya it was a hell of a game, the Ice are a excellent team, Dawes is so dangerous. If these two teams meet down the road it would make for a great seven game series.

Did anyone catch Mahovsky spear Weber in the late third? Too bad Shea couldn't of gotten a piece of him.

Slyvester and Darzins both are shooting the puck and have come up with great goals of late. Hope they both continue.

I'm not sure what the Ice have for a schedule, but the Rockets do have a good eight games left. Five games at home, Spokane, Calgary, Kamloops, Prince George and Vancouver. Three road games, twice to Vancouver and once in Kamloops. No long trips to PG or down south, should have the boys ready for the playoffs.

Amazing that the Rockets have scored the most goals in the west 194 goals just one ahead of the Ice. Seattle has allowed the least amount of goals, two less than the Rockets and three less than the Ice.

OK I just got back from my grief councelor and he told me that I have to get over the loss. LOL anyway congratulations on the big victory and I hope that we end up playing a long western final playoff match. What a series that would be! Enjoy being in first place now but remember who is anly one point behind. Both teams with eight games left, the Ice have four home games KAMLOOPS,CALGARY,LETHBRIDGE,and SPOKANE also four on the road RED DEER,CALGARY,TRICITY and SPOKANE. some good teams to get through yet Kelowna holds the destiny of first place over all in there own hands, We will see if they can hang on for the next three weeks. Right now I have to give the rockets the edge with the lighter schedule and lower placed teams but us ice fans won't give up on first until the very end .Good luck

Why is that amazing to you Jovorock? We have talked about this before and we agreed that Kelowna has the best overall defence and the best balanced scoring in the WHL.Most just like last year said we didn't have enough scoring and Guard wasn't good enough etc etc and guess what........we are the Champions and still are till someone beats us and takes it away.
