question: does any one know a rough schedule for the playoffs? since we pretty much know what the match-ups in the BC division will be -- at least the home teams who start off the playoffs.

I assume we would start the playoffs on the weekend (March 23,24,25), but I'm not sure if it would be Fri/Sat.. or Fri/Sun .. or Sat/Sun for the first two games. Also do you think it will keep the same kind of format (days that are being used for games) consistently throughout the playoffs?

I've gotta plan out some work stuff and if any one has a heads-up on how it will break down I would appreciate it.

look at the PG/Blazers series ^ odd I thought it was a two three two format -- I prefer the two two one one one format myself, but I could have sworn the WHL adopted the 2-3-2 format due to travel and expenses?

thanks for the links scrunt I checked the WHL site, but apparently not in the right places.

maybe we'll have to go out to Chilliwack for the mid-week games (Kelowna would be too far :thumb: )

I believe the 2-3-2 format is only for the finals.

The Cougars Vancouver 1st round last year was 2-2-1-1-1. Moose Jaw vs Vancouver was 2-3-2.

Agreed the Giants PR people do a very poor job of offering any information on the club etc.

VERY IMPRESSED with the Giants organization right now.

Yesterday I got the email saying they would be mailing off the playoff tickets over the next few days, I get home from work today, AND THERE THEY ARE! :D

So excited!

The Giants too..they sent them BEFORE they had said they would!
I figure we do a lot of complaining on here, but they did a great job with the playoff tix so I'm gonna mention it.

That was the talk on Sportstalk tonight. Makes sense anyway because the only other option was Thursday for game four. Depended on arena availablity. The Everett series a couple years ago went Tuesday and Thursday because of some prior commitment on Wednesday.

They said Games 3 & 4 would be Tues/Wed on the Bruins post-game show. Not sure when tickets go on sale yet. Probably by the weekend forsure, if not sooner.

Since nobody has actually posted it yet:

Game 1: Friday, March 23 vs. Chilliwack
Game 2: Saturday, March 24 vs. Chilliwack
Game 3: Tuesday, March 27 at Chilliwack
Game 4: Wednesday, March 28 at Chilliwack
Game 5: Friday, March 30 vs. Chilliwack (if necessary)
Game 6: Saturday, March 31 at Chilliwack (if necessary)
Game 7: Wednesday, March 4 vs. Chilliwack (if necessary)

At least it's a fairly short bus trip for the teams :) PG-Kamloops is a good 6-8 hour ride!
