Calgary, AB - The Western Hockey League announced today the 2006-07 WHL Eastern and Western Conference First and Second All-Star Teams.

The WHL Eastern and Western Conference All-Star Teams are as follows:

Special congrats go out to Fransoo. Probablly my favorite Tip player in their short history. Taking 2nd team...meaning top 5 defenceman in the Western Conference (1st team had 2, 2nd team had 3, due to tie). His hard work, dedication, leadership and team approach has paid off for him this year. He took a lot of criticism from Tips fans, expecially earlier in this season when he was named Captain and right after the trade of Thoring. He's played in all but one game in his two seasons with the Tips. He only missed the one because KC rested him late in this season.
