WHL Bantam Draft
APR 30 - The Swift Current Broncos, along with the 21 other Western Hockey League franchises, are getting set for the 2007 Bantam Draft which is scheduled to take place this coming Thursday, May 3rd.
The Broncos will hold the 9th overall choice in the 1st round and will then have the 8th pick in all of the subsequent rounds. The club will be sending out numerous releases throughout the day on Thursday containing information on their selections and fans can access the drafted players list by visiting the team’s official website at www.scbroncos.com on that day.
In the past 4 seasons, the Broncos 1st round selections have been Cody Eakin (6th overall – 2006), Geordie Wudrick (2nd overall – 2005), Paul Postma (12th overall – 2004), and Kyle Bortis (16th overall – 2003).
