The 2007 Wellington West Broncos Golf Classic is scheduled to take place on Friday, July 13th at the Elmwood Golf Club. The event will feature a casual social the evening prior to the tournament at the Elmwood’s clubhouse and all golfers are invited to attend the social. Then, all golfers who are registered will tee off on Friday at 1:30pm, with registration occurring at 12:00pm. The tournament is played as a Texas Scramble style with 6 groups in 6 flights. A steak supper and sports auction along with prize distribution will be held following the golf tournament.
This year’s tournament will feature a first place prize of 4 Apple Ipod Nanos for the top finishing team in each of the 6 flights! There will also be prizes handed out to every team that finishes 2nd in each of their respective flights. The prizes don’t end there. Every golfer will have the opportunity to win individual prizes including longest drive and closest to the pin contests, as well as numerous prizes on holes including numerous $5,000 hole in one prizes.
The Wellington West Broncos Golf Classic has sold out in 2 consecutive seasons with 144 golfers, raising over $30,000 in that stretch. Over 25 Broncos alumni attended last year’s golf tournament.
To register a team of 4 in the 2007 Wellington West Broncos Golf Classic, contact Kevin or Jerrod at Wellington West Capital by calling 778-4770. Registrations must be completed as teams of 4 at a cost of $125 per golfer for non-members and $100 per golfer for members of the Elmwood Golf Club.
