family connection?

Just wondering if Cody Eakin is related to Bruce Eakin?
Also is Zach Habscheid Marc's son?


If so would be kind of neat to have them both play for the same team as Bruce and Marc played on the same line for Saskatoon!

Bruce Eakin is Cody's uncle. Cody's dad is Grant who actually played for Lethbridge Broncos when they moved from Swift Current. He was then drafted by the Cleveland Barons in 1977, 128th overall. Bruce was drafted by the Flames in 1981, 204th overall.

Zach Habscheid is in fact Marc's son.
