hmm nice revisionist writing eh? I wonder where Lew and Plym got their other wins?
If Vancouver wins they are 3-0, Medicine Hat, Plymouth and Lewiston would all be 2-1 (um that would be 1-2 :D ). The formula is GF/(GF+GA), which gives you something that looks like a batting average. BUT, it only involves the 3 teams that are tied, so you throw out the Vancouver games. This creates:
Lewiston: .571
Medicine Hat: .556
Plymouth: .375
Lewiston to the semis, Medicine Hat/Plymouth to the tie-breaker.
If Medicine Hat wins Wednesday night, they finish tied with Vancouver at 2-1, but get the nod with head-to-head record. That leaves Plymouth and Lewiston at 1-2 for the tie-breaker.
