The writing was on the wall when his No. 28 was reassigned to newcomer Justin Falk, but the club has confirmed D Tyler Harder will not be back. Originally excused because of an illness in the family, Harder has informed the team he would not be returning, reportedly because of his reduced role .

Harder should have realized that he would have been given a smaller role being a rook and all. But oh well-- that's the breaks I assume.

No point having a player on the roster if he thinks he is better than he truly is if he's a rookie he should realize that he will get his chance but you have to be willing to ride the pine and learn from the vets and then down the road you can strut your stuff.
