Any news with Dave, has he resigned as an associate or assistant in Swift, it was thought that he was a candidate for some of the vacant head coach positions in the league.

There are certainly rumors floating around everywhere regarding Dave Hunchak. I will not mention anything I've heard, because that would be unprofessional. (HAHA) But I would agree that Dave might be a hot commodity for a head coaching position.

On the other hand, he could stay in Swift Current. I think he enjoys it here, from what I've heard.

There is one thing to remember here. Coaches have a goal: To get to the next level.

And another thing: Dave is one hell of a coach IMO.

Don't know whats up with Dave. Hopefully , and i'm sure he is , Dean is trying his darndest to keep Dave. He is over qualified as an assistant and could make alot more money as a coach elsewhere, but they are settled in here, his wife has a good job and they both like it here from what i've heard. Hope he stays and we can afford him but i'm sure Dean only has so much money alloted for staff wages.
