The WHL exhibition season will open Aug. 29. The Blazers are to play in a six-team preseason tournament in Edmonton on the September long weekend, meeting the Regina Pats on Sept. 1, Edmonton on Sept. 2, and the Swift Current Broncos on Sept. 3. The Kelowna Rockets and Prince George Cougars also will be in Edmonton.
* Kamloops also will play in Prince George on Sept. 7, with the Cougars in Kamloops the next night.
* The Blazers will close out their preseason with a visit to the Chilliwack Bruins on Sept. 11 and a home game against the Rockets on Sept. 14.
