730AM not to carry any Giant games on the radio

Toigo said this evening that 730AM is going with a 100% traffic format. Giant games will be all over the radio dial. Most weekend games on CKNW on AM. Some others on the FM Corus sister station Rock 101 (CFMI) and the rest on another minor station somewhere else on the dial.

The Province said that they tried to get a deal done with Team 1040, but they had no room for them due to Canucks and Lions.

They also said that weekend games, like N.W. Bruin said, will be on CKNW, and that week day games will be on an FM station (forget the name).

Any other games will be available online, and all games will be available on the Giant's website.

TEAM 1040.ca will be carrying the Bruins games, not the TEAM. They are carrying the Bruins opener vs Kamloops on the radio.
