Prince Albert, Saskatchewan - When the Prince Albert Raiders return to Western Hockey League action this weekend, they will have events Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the Comuniplex:
Friday, January 14th
Raiders vs. Brandon Wheat Kings - 7:30 PM
Prince Albert Daily Herald Night
The first 1,500 fans at the game will receive a complimentary edition of "The Hockey News" which is published by Transcontinental, owners of the PA Daily Herald. Included will be a special WHL edition including a story on Raider coach Peter Anholt by Courtney Gillies of the Daily Herald.
The Zone 1 Atom III Stars will take part in a special showdown competition between periods sponsored by the Daily Herald.
Saturday, January 15th
2nd Annual SIAST Skills Competition - 1:00 PM
Admission: $2 - all proceeds go to the Raiders Education Fund (to support Raiders who attend SIAST)
See which Raider is the fastest skater and who has the hardest shot among other events! Also the popular coach versus coach competition pits two former Raiders against each other (Peter Anholt vs. Mark Odnokon).
NEW THIS YEAR! For a $5 donation to the Raider Education Fund you can take one shot on either Rejean Beauchemin or Alex Archibald! All participants must bring their own helmet, skates and stick. This will occur immediately following the conclusion of the skills competition at approximately 2:30 PM. All shooters will receive a free cheeseburger coupon courtesy McDonalds.

Raiders vs. Brandon Wheat Kings - 2:30 PM
Husky/Mohawk WHL Team Rebate Cards
The first 1,000 adults will receive a Prince Albert Raider Husky/Mohawk Rebate Card. The Raider Education Fund will be credited with 2% of every purchase you make at Husky or Mohawk stores and gas stations in Canada when you swipe this card. Also there are special offers for card holders each month.
Skate with the Raiders immediately following the game (Until 6:00 PM)
During the skate, have your picture taken with your favourite Raider for only $5. Official Raider team photographer Thomas Porter of Thomas Porter Photographics will take pictures of fans with their favorite Raider for only $5 - these pictures will be available at the Raider Store at the next game.
Lukacovic to make Raider Debut Friday
Newly acquired 18 year-old defenceman Adam Lukacovic (pronounced: Luke-a-cove-itch) is expected to play his first game with the Raiders Friday against Brandon. Lukacovic will wear #4.
