KENNEWICK, WA - The Tri-City Americans will hold their annual Todd Klassen Memorial Classic Blue-White intra-squad game Sunday, August 26 at the Toyota Center in Kennewick. Game time is 9:00 AM.

The game is the official end to the club's annual rookie training camp as it prepares to open their main camp next week. The team will officially kick off the pre-season next Saturday, September 1st, at the Everett Silvertips Tournament, before returning home to host the annual Red Lion Hotels Pre-Season Tournament at Toyota Center. The Red Lion Hotels Tournament will take place Friday, September 7 through Sunday, September 9 and will feature all five U.S. Division teams for the second consecutive season. Admission to the Todd Klassen Memorial Classic is free; however there is a suggested donation of $5 with all the proceeds going towards a college scholarship for a deserving Kamiakin High School student.

This year, 18-year-old Michael Arent of Kennewick was named the 2007 Todd Klassen Scholarship winner. Arent was a four-year member of the Kamiakin Braves' football team and was also involved in several community service initiatives through his church. Arent will now head to Cheney as he has enrolled at Eastern Washington University for the upcoming fall term. He is scheduled be at the game on Sunday.

Tri-City Americans season ticket plans are now available for the 2007-08 season.
