Broncos Complete Front Office Hirings
Aug 28 - The Swift Current Broncos are pleased to announce the addition of two new employees to join the club’s Front Office staff for the 2007/08 season.

The Broncos have hired Tracy Lemon to take over as the club’s Public/Media Relations Director. Tracy fills a vacancy created when Brad Boutilier left the organization in mid-August. Tracy joins the Broncos after working as a Graphic Designer at the Southwest Booster in Swift Current for the past two years. She will begin her new position on Monday, September 10th.

The club has also added Patti McKay as an administrative assistant in the office. Patti will be the first face most people will see when coming to purchase tickets or souvenirs at the Broncos Store. Patti begins her new position full-time on Tuesday, September 4th.

Meanwhile, current staff member Brenda Wall will be taking on more duties as the Director of Ticketing/Merchandise/Fundraising Projects. Brenda has 10 years of experience in administering the Broncos Ticketing and Broncos Store. She will continue with those duties, but now will also have added responsibility in administering Broncos fundraising projects such as the Goals for Education Lottery.

“I’m extremely pleased with the new additions to our staff,” commented Broncos Assistant General Manager/Director of Operations Elden Moberg. “Both Tracy and Patti are Swift Current residents who bring a tremendous amount of energy to the club, not only in their positions but also in their support of the Hockey Club in general.”

“In addition to that, I’m excited about turning the administration of our many fundraising projects over to Brenda because they are so important to our financial success. Tracy and Director of Sales/Marketing Jordan Wall will both be going through their first full season’s with the club. That fact along with the first half transition to a newly renovated building and we’re going to rely on Brenda to keep our fundraising initiatives going in the right direction.”

All preparations now lead to the club’s expected return to the new offices in the Centennial Civic Centre in early October following by the club’s home opener on Friday, October 12th against the Edmonton Oil Kings.
