Well, the long wait is finally over! The COUGARS are back at it tonight...finally. Will they go with an all rookie squad or with a mix of vets/youngsters. Good luck boys! :)

With the number of roster spots open, they will have to go with a strong mix of rookies and vets. With Tyrrel and Wishart on the way back to finish off the Russians, that opens the door for a couple more rooks to show their worth to the coaches.

Speaking of the coaches, I hope they have this young, young squad buying into a disiplined, defensive system. The way I see it their best bet for wins this year is to be patient, let the other team take the penalties, and have a strong power play. The defense and the goalies will be fine I think, but offensively they will struggle. That is unless there is a diamond in the rough in camp we haven't seen yet. As long as the guys can build a strong team first attitude, and have natural chemistry together, they will do OK.
