CJ Stretch's powerplay goal midway through the third period was the difference as the Blazers rallied from a 1-0 deficit to beat the Regina Pats 2-1 on Saturday afternoon at the Edmonton Oil Kings Pre-Season Invitational Tournament in St. Albert.

Brock Nixon also scored for the Blazers after falling behind 1-0 on a Josh Elder powerplay goal.

Final shots were 26-14 Blazers with Justin Leclerc spelling off Dustin Butler after the first 30 minutes. Linden Rowat went the distance for Regina.

The Blazers were 1-for-6 on the PP while the Pats were 1-for-7.

Next up are the EdmontonOil Kings, Sunday night, 6pm (PT).
