Calla Returns From Panthers Training Camp

Moose Jaw Warriors Brady Calla has returned from the Florida Panthers Training Camp due to an injured groin suffered during a Panthers practice.

Brady Calla was selected by the Florida Panthers in the 3rd round (73rd overall) in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft. The 6'0, 195lbs right winger has played a key role in the Warriors offense since he joined the Tribe in January from the Everett Silvertips.

“It is unfortunate that Brady suffered an injury during camp, but we are glade to have him back with the Warriors”, stated Warriors Head Coach Dave Hunchak. “We will continue to help Brady in his pursuit of a professional hockey career”.

The Warriors head up to Saskatoon tonight to take on the Saskatoon Blades in exhibition play at the Credit Union Centre. Puck is scheduled to drop at 7:05pm. The next home game for the Tribe and their last exhibition game is Saturday September 15th vs. the Brandon Wheat Kings.
