Calgary 4, Red Deer 3: In Lacombe, Alta., the Hitmen (2-3) got two goals from Brett Sonne and singles from Ian Duval and Brendan Rowinski. Landon Ferraro, WIllie Coetzee and Zak Stebner replied for Red Deer (2-3), which trailed 4-1 midway in the third period. Dan Spence started in goal for Calgary and stopped eight of nine shots. Martin Jones came on at 8:43 of the second and stopped 11 of 13. At the other end, Red Deer went with Travis Rolheiser (20 of 22) and Morgan Clark (14 of 16). The Hitmen were 0-for-8 on the PP; the Rebels were 2-for-6.

Thanks for the summary of the game. The Rebels website does a very poor job of reporting on their games. For those of us who can't be at the game it is frustrating reading only bare bones reporting. The Oil Kings do a great job of their game summaries I noticed in the game against them. To get info I had to go to their site. I was impressed!
