Cranbrook, BC -- Jeff Chynoweth, General Manager of the Kootenay ICE Hockey Club, today announced that the club has reduced their roster to 27 players.

Forward Michael Cassivi has been assigned to the Grand Forks Border Bruins of the KIJHL and Defenseman Brad Ryan has been assigned to the Calgary Canucks of the AJHL.

The ICE have 27 players remaining on their roster, including three goaltenders, eight defenseman, and 16 forwards. Included in this total are six 20 year old players, six 19 year old players, five 18 year old players, seven 17 year old players, and three 16 year old players.

Returning to the line up is Defenseman Chad Greenan from the Detroit Red Wings Training Camp. Two ICE players (Ben Maxwell and Ryan Russell) still remain at the Montreal Canadiens Main Camp.
