Whats up with the ICE?

How many ads do you have on your ice i watched the highlights on the news and i could barely see any ice it was just ads.

I know ads bring in money but i think that was a little to much :clown:

Haha I have to say that when I saw the ice I was like "What the heck did I just walk into a European rink?" But after watching warm ups I got used to the adds.... At least the adds aren't on the teams' jerseys.

Yeah, the ice is pretty crazy. That's the first thing I noticed when I walked in. More and more, every year. I thought it would be distracting but it's not so bad. It really didn't take long at all to get used to it. They put ads on the stairs! I liked the Go Pats Go that they had for playoffs and I think it would be a good idea to keep it all year. Put the Go Pats Go towards the centre, where it was last year and keep the ads toward the outside?

What's with the Target ad to the left of the Pats bench??? Target?

Ads for everything...Rod's keys to the game?

And the shot clock? The only thing without a logo. Did they get a new sponsor or is something else up with that?

Despite the advertising I think we're in for a good year!

Ya i noticed the Target ad as well on the boards...my only thought to that ad is its a league wide sponsor...

I think all the ads on the ice look terrible ya i know its big money for the team with on ice ads but geees have to draw the line somewhere....


What did you other guys think of Bosch's equipment??? i think his gear looks great.... i wasnt there for warm ups so didnt see his mask but his pads and blocker/glove look good

Concerning the ads on the ice I approached the Pats office a couple of seasons ago and mentioned the idea of getting Casino Regina to sponsor ads in the slot at each end of the ice. I was told, in a sharp tone, that the WHL does not allow anything in the slot area. Has that "rule" changed or was I fed, which I know now, the usual BS from the office?

On a side note: I'm glad to see the Pats finally have started recognize its season ticker holders.

I was pretty shocked when I walked in on Sunday. Definitely the first thing I noticed. I also asked about the Target add. My mom told me, and I remember this from awhile ago, that there is some sort of Target store in the Hotel Sask. So my guess is that it is that.
