When will cuts be done

When do you think the raiders will finalize their team? Will they continue to play d's as forwards? Surely they must be planning to let some d's go.

I think there will be plenty of moves made in the next couple of weeks.

We have too many defencemen in camp, and could potentially have one more if Jeff May is returned from Houston. If May does return, I would say that Flatters will be traded/released/waivers.

If May sticks in Houston, I could see Flatters still being moved to make room for a '87 born forward (Tri-Cities has 3 + 1 defenceman). Either Vey or Yellowhorn would sure help out offensively.

One also has to think that Palazzo or Scherger (or both) will be moved with Button and Deck playing so well. We can't have them playing two forward shifts per game all season.

Is Ashim still eligible to play midget? Maybe he will be re-assigned?

At any rate, we are sure in a good situation here. Donn Clark must be lovin this.

On a side note, Kelly Kisio was in the rink during the Speedy Creek game. Sounds like Dansereau, is at home in Saskatoon. Maybe something is in the works there?
