he Vancouver Giants have acquired defenceman Justin Palazzo (left) from the Prince Albert Raiders. In exchange, the Raiders have received a 6th round pick in the 2009 WHL Bantam Draft.

Palazzo is into his third season in the WHL. The 6’4”, 202lbs. native of Kamloops, B.C. was originally a 1st round pick of the Raiders in the 2004 WHL Bantam Draft (17th overall). In 130 regular season games, Palazzo has scored four goals, nine assists, and collected 211 minutes in penalties.

Wish he would have went to Brandon cause Kelly would have turned him back into the player he was supposed to be. Good luck Justin.

Wow Don Clark finnaly did something ok and gave this guy a chance too play somewhere else, if i was Palazzo i would be the happyist guy in the world too get away from that crappy managment. I thought he was the only Raider left that could drop the mitts and yes i don't count Gauthier cause he will never fight heavy weights.

Only 7 D left on the roster and 4 of them are rookies. Another move must be coming.

The Raiders have been losing a lot of grit lately. It's too bad Vann isn't still around.

Raiders need alot of help only Gauthier and May are the vets really and there not scoring goals either ,on the bright side Dustin Butler has been solid.

Too tell you the truth Klotz is tougher than Philp probablly, but i would rather trade you Klotz just because of the age situation.

Your right he does have no skills i thought he would maybe be improved expecially on his skating but nope not at all. His fighting is what keeps him in the league, the Blades should keep the younger Philp over him but come on people give up on the Klotz talk allready ,Blade fans know how you feel allready ok.

Looks like Palazzo did nothing in the Giants line up, I noticed he was sent to the BCHL on Jan 10th. Their GM said the younger players out played him. Sounds like him.

Well we may lack some grit, but looking at the grit that the Blades have, it really isn't doing them much good either. Where is the happy medium.
