He did injure his knee in the game against Lethrbridge last week. Perhaps that is it?

With a slight tear to the mcl, (medial collateral ligament), there is a slight sprain. One has to be very concerned and weary becuz this could mean the possibility of a more serious injury concerning the anterior cruciate and the meniscus (cartilage). Just look at Matt Domingez, Sask Roughriders, started off with a diagnosis of a slight sprain to the mcl, now he just had reconstructive surgery, tying the patella tendon to replace the work of the anterior cruciate. Totally wish, that JD's injury is minor and fast recovery.
