It will be good for Flame fans to see Irving tonight. Game is on the radio, hopefully the boys come out and play for a full 60 minutes.

Irving steals the game in the 3rd for the Tips. One bad period cost the Hitmen another game.

Yup. Irving did what top draft picks are supposed to do. Nice to see the Hitmen pour the pressure on though.

I really have one question for Kelly Kisio: Does he not know what a breakout play is? And if he does, why does he not practice it? I have never in my life seen a team so abysmally bad at getting the puck out of the defensive zone. And usually, we aren't even being pressured.

Good effort tonight by the Hitmen. Played much better than the Blades game. Tips got the bounces and Irving played good. At least the Hitmen never quit and they can hold their heads high not like some of their loses.
Was impressed with defenseman Harty who was always doing something. He even tried to play after getting a misconduct. Couldn't believe my eyes when he came out after the Hitmen made it 2-1 and seconds after getting the misconduct. The Tips' coach tried everything all games, and I was expecting a bench minor at anytime. But the Tips earned the win.
Also got to met about 20 of their faithful fans before the game. Great bunch of fans they got.
