I seem to remember Butler saying in one of his first interviews that he knew he was basically coming in to help groom the young guys. Not rotating would be a terrible idea - look what happened to Aime. The guy was a nervous wreck before he even stepped on the ice, playing every 10th game didn't help at all. I feel kind of bad for the guy actually. Raiders still kept the better of the two though.

I am a late bloomer what is the story behind aasman? Wasn't he originally cut from the team?

Aasman will be the face of the club in two years. Maybe three.
Along with Tendler.

He is an unbelievable prospect. He could quarterback the powerplay at 15!

I believe as a 15 yr old he can play in 5 games.

I think you can actually apply to the league for special permission to place an exceptional player on a roster permanently.

he can be called up for a max of 5 games. after his team is finished for the season he can play the remainder of the season and playoffs in the dub

They said the same thing about Palazzo and Gauthier and they turned out to not be the greatest 1st rounders. Maybe let's wait before labelling Aasman as the new savior and god.

Palazzo and Gauthier are totally different players then Aasman. Gauthier and Palazzo were big bruising d-men when they were drafted. Aasman is compared to Kris Russel and can skate like the wind.

we seriously cant get our hopes up for anything with triton patroling the raider site. dont think I can remember him saying a positive thing about the raiders

I agree with you Raiderfan17. Triton i don't think you are a fan. Seriously do you have anything positive to say?
^5's raiderfan17

haha at Triton...go putt with Peter...or are you Peter?

Whoops just read his profile, :clown: such a positive young individual at 24... I recomend that Trtion doesn't coach or go into teaching....

Triton has a point in that the best players at 15 don't necessarily make the best players at 18 or 20. But I also agree that he seems to be a different type of player than the others. A better fit for the "new" league at any rate.

gauthier and palazzo were drafted under a differant set of rules

The rules have changed in the last couple of years in favour of more finesse play vs. rough and tumble. The clutch and grab years left awhile ago.
