at a U-20 tournament which takes place in a week's time? Some of the others that are from countries like Slovenia, Austria are leaving tomorrow to play for their national teams.

hopefully he comes back, campese sure doesn't play him much. very frustrating game to watch tonight i still have to wonder why campese doesn't show any emotion behind the bench. Clark needs to go

Germany is in the B division.

may is expected back after Christmas. Andy Smith said in anintermission interview that the on ice discipline has not been good the last couple of games.

Prince Albert, Saskatchewan – Max Brandl of the Prince Albert Raiders scored a goal to help his home country, Germany to a 7-1 win over Lithuania in the opening game of the 2008 Under 20 World Junior Hockey Championships, Division 1 in Bad Tolz, Germany.

Brandl scored the 4th goal in Germany’s victory on the first day of the Championships Sunday. Brandl also picked up a slashing minor and was +1. Brandl was named ther Player of the Game for Team Germany.

The Germans take on Poland today.
The WJC Division 1 tournament continues through Sunday. Brandl will return to the Raiders lineup December 27th when they host Saskatoon.
