Cote suspended 3

Former Raider Riley Cote suspended three games by NHL for a hit to the head over the weekend.
Can't say I'm surprised or disappointed. All five (!!!) of the Flyers' suspensions this year seem to be for targeted hits - much different imo than the Stevens hit on Lindros where Lindros simply had his head down and was already low to the ice.
If the league doesn't punish the team soon, someone else will and it won't be pretty. Typical NHL coming in too late.

I was listening to that sports radio talk show tonight and they were talking about the flyers goon squad and all the the suspensions that they have taken. They just seem to recruit more goons to take the space of the ones suspended.. NICE Boogaard'd

Cote has been fighting steady, he has been making the highlights some night. Not sure when he started to be the big fighter but good on him. I seen the hit on TV and I have no idea why he received 5 games, I think it is b/c of the history with the Flyers this year.

ever since he graduted from the raiders he has become the fighter he won a championship with dayton bombers memphis i believe and is a calder cup champ with the phantoms so not to bad of a career so far Perrier mcquireer called him one of the toughest in the league (NHL)

its surprising to see a player like cote kinda come out of nowhere and become a good fighter, with nhl level skills

Some guys are just late bloomers. Not a fan of the hit but good for him to make it to 'the show.'
