I'm one of these people who is sick of Clark, but realistically speaking, the WHL is now a two-tiered league. PA is fighting an uphill battle, and when compared to the rest of the league, it is hardly an ideal situation for somebody with any kind of hockey credentials to move to. I grew up in the city, have family there, still visit regularly, but let's be honest....it just doesn't stack up to any other city (aside from Swift/Moose Jaw).
I have to think this led to them re-hiring Clark after firing him a few years earlier. The league is moving towards larger markets, owners with deep pockets, and is slowly drifting away from these small town teams that were the lifeline of the league for years.
