TONIGHT’S GAME: Tonight the Swift Current Broncos wrap up their west coast swing against the Seattle Thunderbirds; the only meeting between the two club’s this season…The Broncos won the lone meeting last season beating the Thunderbirds 2-1 in the shoot-out in Swift Current.

Travis Yonkman made 36 saves in regulation and stopped all 5 Seattle shooters in the shoot-out for the win…Zack Smith scored the lone shoot-out goal for the Broncos…The Broncos currently sit tied with the Moose Jaw Warriors for 3rd place in the East Division and 7th in the Eastern Conference...The Club will now break for the holidays, next action is December 28th when the Medicine Hat Tigers travel to Swift Current.

LAST GAME: The Swift Current Broncos were handed a tough 3-1 loss to the Portland Winter Hawks last night…Eric Felde scored the Broncos' only goal midway through the second period, assisted by Michael Wilson…Netminder Travis Yonkman made 40 saves in a losing effort…The Broncos powerplay finished 0 for 4 in the contest, failing to score for the first time in three games…The Broncos penalty killing unit, which had not allowed a goal in 16 opportunities in four games over the road trip, allowed 2 goals on 8 Winter Hawks’ power plays…With the loss the Broncos record drops to 18-13-0-5 with 41 points.
