What the heck is with this guy? Is this the only reason we brought him in? Fighting..........please add some value to the team instead of just using your "brute strength" to fight it out every night. RD can do with a "spirited" player but this is taking it too far....... if I am even recalling correctly at least 4 - 5 minutes for fighting the last 4 games (may be more). Give me a break!! Like the team needs more penalties!! :mad:

They certainly didn't bring him in for the buckets of goals he has put into the net thus far in his career. Last season we had Lynch, and to a lesser extent Lamoureaux filling this role. This season, we have really needed our tougher guys on the ice instead of the penalty box, and Esposito fills this role without taking a key player off the ice for 5 minutes. Look at it this way, we traded a small player that was struggling to hold a roster spot, for a big player that is fighting with some regularity and showing some intensity.
