The Hitmen are enjoying another solid campaign in 2007-08, and have managed to keep pace in the strongest division in the WHL. Up front, veterans Ryan White, Kyle Bortis, Ian Duval and Carson McMillan have led the offense. Bortis has scored 32 points in 33 games since coming to the Hitmen from Swift Current. 19-year-old rookie T.J. Galiardi and 17-year-old freshman Brandon Kozun have added even more scoring punch. Galiardi, who played in the NCAA last season, currently ranks third among WHL rookies with 30 points this season while 17-year-old Kozun ranks 13th with 19 points this season. Defensively, there hasn’t been a stingier team in the Eastern Conference than the Hitmen, who have surrendered a conference-low 89 goals. Led by Karl Alzner, the Hitmen defense corps is a combined +33 this season, and have produced 20 goals this season. Dan Spence and Martin Jones have both performed well in the Hitmen net this year. Both have more than 10 wins, and both sit among the top 10 WHL goaltenders in goals-against average.

Still a pure sniper away imo. And maybe even top level goalie, I am not sold on Spence.

I agree with you 100%, not sold on Spence or Jones and
we still need that pure sniper, haven't had one since Getzlaf
