It's a little difficult to account for the effect of the players who are missing due to the World Junior Tournament.

Will the players who get to stay home feel too comfortable to play at their best? I see two visiting teams who should make things close but they will each be missing their best player?

Hey Weasel, check this out... vci22

Thanks.

Unfortunately, I second guessed those visiting teams. They both won without their star players and we 'only' got 60% for the night.

Things should get a bit easier once the junior tournament is over and everyone has all their players.

Knowing who is injured/out of the lineup gets the best out of predictions.

Brandon was short half of their top 6 from the tournament(schenn, glennie), and Clark with a long term injury, and Lethbridge was without sbisa and boychuk, while Calgary only lost Alzner, and they have guys like plante and mercer to fill in easily as it is.

Here is a link to all the absenses throughout the lineup. It updates every week or so. Unless you know all this. If you didnt, you do now, I guess.

Thanks! I did not know all of that.

All I did was to quickly review the Team Canada lineup for WHL players. I noticed Alzer and figured they'd really miss a player that good.

I'll try using your link next time.
