The Swift Current Broncos have announced that they have traded 17-year-old goaltender Ian Curtis to the Prince George Cougars for 19-year-old defensemen Jesse Dudas and forward prospect Catlin Foley.
We wanted to solidify our backend at the deadline, with yesterdays deal and now the acquisition of Jesse we feel we have done that,” commented Broncos General Manager/Head Coach Dean Chynoweth. “We would like to wish Ian the best of luck in Prince George.”
Dudas is in his 4th season in the Western Hockey League and was selected by the Columbus Blue Jackets in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft.
Foley was originally drafted by the Cougars in the 6th round, 120th overall in the 2007 Bantam Draft and is native of Cornach, SK.
Head Coach Dean Chynoweth states “Catlin is presently playing in Notre Dame and will add to our young group of 1992 born forwards.”
