CHL Top-10 Rankings (http://www.chl.ca/CHL/topten.html)
CHL Top 10 - Week Number 22

Final Ranking. Team (record) last week in ranking - weeks in ranking

1. London Knights (59-7-2-0) 1 - 22
2. Rimouski Oceanic (45-17-5-3) 3 - 11
3. Kootenay Ice (47-15-7-3) 4 - 14
4. Kelowna Rockets (45-13-12-2) 2 - 13
5. Brandon Wheat Kings (45-21-5-1) 5 - 5
6. Halifax Mooseheads (42-16-10-2) 6 - 11
7. Medicine Hat Tigers (45-21-4-2) 9 - 13
8. Chicoutimi Sagueneens (38-19-6-7) 8 - 19
9. Seattle Thunderbirds (43-24-2-3) 10 - 19
10. Owen Sound Attack (40-18-7-3) 7 - 16

I believe that makes it another record(s) for the London Knights. Not only the most weeks in the rankings (22) but also most weeks ranked #1 (22).

But look at that! Half the top ten are from the DUB! < Woo Hoo >

I'd say its because Rimouski finished the season with 28 straight undefeated games.

The CHL Top 10 rankings mean nothing, nada, zip, ziltch. Just a bunch of guesses by a bunch of people that haven't seen 2/3 of the teams that they are ranking, play.

The BMO Top 10 may make fans feel good about their teams but, what are they really?

There is only one true top 10 ranking and it involves teams playing other teams in the play-offs (instead of uninformed wanabees sitting around drinking scotch and smoking cigars guessing about hypothetical match-ups).

There are times I wish we could get the entire list.

Not just the top ten, but the list of ALL the teams, and where they are ranked.

They are NHL Scouts - it's their job to rank the teams and watch the games and they're certainly more informed then the average CHL fan. They are also unbiased.

Of course you're correct in the fact that the playoffs will determine who is the top team, but the rankings at least give an idea of who are the teams that will likely be competing for their league championships and perhaps Memorial Cup.

While only time will tell how accurate their guestimations are (which is all they are, really), I fully agree with who they have in the top 4 - IMO those are definately the top teams in the CHL right now.

that makes sense.. if it goes by scouting and not by stats.
