Looks like no Yacker tonight which is disappointing, they could use his physical play against the smaller Cane forwards. If you are not attending the game don't forget to tune into FAN 960 for the call of the game. Off topic just alittle...a reporter from the Lethbridge did a radio preview of the series up here in Edmonton last night, he said if the Rockets-giants series is a short 4 or 5 games then Shaw will most likely pick up the remaining games of the Hitmen series. GO HITMEN!!!

Ah crap, crap, crap, crap.

Tough loss, but you could expect that from these two teams. The Canes kept coming and coming and that inexperience on the blue line and a couple of anti-Hitmen bounces did them in.

I was listening to the game on Fan960 and it sounded like a game that could have gone either way.

I fully expected Lammers to try his between the legs deke that he scored on against the Rebels when he got that penalty shot. Bet he wished he had tried it again now! What was the PS awarded for again?

No doubt that this is going to be a tight series all the way.

Judging from the highlights, I think that Karl Alzner tripped up Lammers when he was on a mini-break. It was a questionable call, but luckily it didn't bite the Hitmen.

What? The Hitmen blew a third period lead? That never happens, does it?

Ladd's only impact on the scoresheet was a stupid penalty. That never happens, does it?

Undisciplined play? Too many penalties? That never happens, does it?

I especially loved the two many men penalty with the net empty, and the Hitmen trying to tie. Nice bench management Kisio. I'm sure we'll find a noose in your size easily enough...

*sigh* :(

Yeah he really doesn't help himself does he. A "too many" pen with the net empty is unforgivable. I guess if you give someone enough rope they'll end up hanging themselves.

So RTG here's a question: Do you prefer playoff success or Kisio gone the most, given that you cannot have both?

Good game tonight. Actually a great game. It was certainly better than the last game when the Hitmen and 'Canes met. There is one man to blame for the Hitmen loss. Not Kisio...not Ladd...not even Pogge but Rob Kerr. I was sitting right below the press box and each time Kerr left to go to the washroom, have a drink, sign an autograph, whatever he was doing, the 'Canes scored. I'm not even joking. Both goals were score as Kerr was waiting to come back up the stairs to the press box. Damn I hope he has to piss a lot tomorrow night!!!!!!!!

GO 'CANES GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ya, I thought it was questionable as well.......Lammers never really was in the clear...made for excitement though...I was expecting a deke but Lammers fired it off the pad.

Playoff success, naturally. If Kisio can prove he is able to build a successful team, then there is the possibility that he could repeat that feat.

We are one disapointing year away from Kisio being gone. I'm perfectly happy with that disapointing year being next year.
