Well a very penalty filled 1st period....... pats 1st shot on net 22 secs into the game 1-0 Pats..... Bartley on a nice cross ice pass for a one-timer ripped it past the keeper

Teubert and MacAngus gone for the game at the 6:25 mark in the 1st multi fights... Didnt think Teubert deserved a game misconduct for the 1st fight tho... yes he deserved the extra penalty but not the game. Oh well thats the WHL reffing tho.....

LEST GO PATS 2nd period coming up

...why exactly? It only lasted 1 or 2 shifts... Cerveny played most of the second and third with Kraus and Eberle. Elder ended up with Watt and Doucet.

Actually Depape played a few shifts with Eberle and Kraus not elder.... then yes they did move Cerveny up on Kraus and Eberle line... and Depape on with Doucet and Watt...

i ended up tapeing the game so i wanted to double check before i made my post... i hate giving false info...

MacAngus plays only about 3 shifts all game with Eberle and Kraus before his game misconduct and the line puts up 3 points off the opening goal..... Kraus puts up another 2 point night.

I didnt agree with Tueberts game misconduct though... yes he did deserve the extra penalty but not a game.... could of gave him a 10 min misconduct on top of a penalty cuz he did jump the player but didnt deserve a game.

Pym i thought played very well tonight he was being used as the 6th Dman, even before Tuebert got the game. Jackson started game off at forward with Strueby and Mitchell, but was forced back to the blue line when Tuebert got the game. I actually dont mind them dressing a extra Dman for the game, it gives us extra insurance on the backend with Tuebert and Bender back there. Both arnt afraid to mix things up (as Bender got into his 1st fight as a Pat, i cant remember if they gave Bender a fighting penalty against swifty when Bosch got ran over or just a roughing) Teubert and Bender are the same style of Dmen just Tuebert has more speed. So in my mind alittle extra insurance in our line up doesnt bother me.

Rowat played sensational between the pipes tonight, as did Holfeld on the other end. Was a great game tonight. Pats are 3-0 against the Kitty Cats (Tigers) this season. All 3 games have have been amazing games, I would love to face them in a playoff round again this season. It would make for a amazing series, fast paced end to end action, with offensive threats on both sides.

can you post any recaps for the fights? Hill fought tonight too apparently, as did Bender and bendfeld....that would be a good one, though Bendfeld has more experience in dropping the gloves.

actually each fight wasnt that great....

Bender vs Benfeld

there was like 2 punches landed... Bender lost his balance during the tie up and fell to the ice.. Benfeld had it all cocked and loaded to lay a blow but being a tough guy like he is held back when Bender was on the ice

Teubert vs ummmm Hamilton i think
Wasnt much of a fight either.. Tuebert hit him into the boards then decided to fight him without Hamilton knowing

MacAngus vs Iserwood
Was a good middle weight tilt both had there shots in... wasnt 1 sided by anymeans i would say a draw

Hill vs Dunstall
was kinda like the Bender and Benfeld fight.... Hill lost his balance on a punch that hardly connected... fight over.... decision would go to Dunstall tho if ur counting that punch as connected lol

God why cant the Pats fight at home.... when was the last time we saw a fight start off from dropping the puck.. god i cant remember the last fight where both players take off the helmets to scrap... always someone getting jumped

The game misconduct but not for the fight. He tossed the linesman down onto the ice while going to the box.

actually if you watched the reply of that..... the linesmen stumbled as Teubert was trying to get at a different Tiger.

The 2 shaw announcers were even joking around about the linesmen stumbling to the ground while escorting Teubert to the penalty box. It was just Smith's way of getting control of the game before things got out of hand, there is a hate on with these teams from last years playoff series. The pats still arnt happy about getting swept 4 straight in the 2nd round.
