CALGARY, AB. - The BOSTON PIZZA WHL Player of the Week is forward Justin Bernhardt of the Prince Albert Raiders.

Bernhardt picked up six points, scoring four goals and two assists to go with a +3 rating in two games over the last week, helping the Raiders post a 2-0 record in that span.

On Wednesday, February 13th, the Raiders’ travelled into the Civic Centre in Moose Jaw to take on the Warriors. Bernhardt picked up one goal as the Raiders shut-out the Warriors 3-0.

On, Saturday, February 16th, the Raiders were back in the friendly confines of the Art Hauser Centre hosting WHL East Division rivals the Swift Current Broncos. Bernhardt netted three goals, including the game winner, and two assists as the Raiders triumphed over the Broncos 7-3. He was also named the games 1st Star.

Bernhardt, a 20 year old from Yorkton, Saskatchewan is in his fourth full season of play in the Western Hockey League. He joined the Raiders early this season after starting the campaign with the Kelowna Rockets.

The WHL has also nominated Dustin Butler of the Prince Albert Raiders for the ADT CHL Goaltender of the Week Award.
