Game 65 vs Chilliwack Bruins
TONIGHT’S GAME: Tonight will be the 1st ever meeting between the Broncos and the 2nd Year Chilliwack Bruins in Swift Current.


The Broncos were victorious in the only meeting last season shutting out the Bruins 3-0 in Chilliwack…Zack Smith scored the game winning goal on a late 2nd period penalty shot…Geordie Wudrick scored one of the other two Broncos goals…The Broncos currently sit in 7th place in the Eastern Conference with Moose Jaw just 1 point back...The team is 2 points behind Brandon, 3 points back of Medicine Hat and 5 points behind Kootenay...The Broncos are 6 points back of the Pats for the East Division lead with 2 games in hand and 8 games remaining in the regular season…Next action is tomorrow night when the Moose Jaw Warriors come to town.

LAST GAME: The Broncos knocked off the Kamloops Blazers Tuesday night by a score of 7-4…Levi Nelson led the way offensively recording his first hat trick of the season…Erik Felde added two goals and an assist, while Matt Tassone and Geordie Wudrick also scored in the victory...Keegan Dansereau recorded a four point night pitching in 4 assists…The line of Nelson, Dansereau, and Tassone dominated the game, combining for 4 goals and 5 assists…Broncos goaltender Travis Yonkman turned aside 26 shots to collect his 28th win of the season...The Broncos were 3 for 10 on the man advantage, while the Blazers went 1 for 3…In the victory the Broncos outshot the Blazers 42 to 30.

Oh well, maybe next year. Esposito is a great little goaltender though. He made some great saves and is very quick. Score should have been higher.
