Broncos and Initiation Level of Minor Hockey Promotion a Success
The Swift Current Broncos and 6 local initiation level minor hockey teams teamed up to pack 2,639 fans in to the Credit Union i-plex Saturday night.
Over the course of the last month players of the initiation level sold tickets to Saturday night’s home game against the Chilliwack Bruins and as a result received a cheque for $620.00 for the Initiation Division. In total the six teams consisting of the Stars, Orange Crush, Bruins, Blue Jackets, Lightening and Cougars sold 190 tickets to the game while the Broncos donated 100 tickets to the teams for players and coaches to be in attendance that night.
The two highest selling teams are also being rewarded with exhibition games against the Swift Current Broncos. The Swift Current Stars and the Swift Current Blue Jackets will be facing off against the Swift Current Broncos on Monday, March 10th from 5:00-6:15 pm at the Credit Union i-plex. The teams and the Broncos will also enjoy a pizza and autograph party after the games.
